History of Online Gaming on the iPhone
The growth of online gaming has always been intricately linked with leaps in technology.
The first online casinos which allowed players to wager real money online for the first time ever weren't launched until the early 90's when Microgaming (a small gaming software developer located in the Isle of Man) developed software that could provide a platform for playing casino games online.
From the 1990s to 2009, more than 600 online casinos were launched for both US and non-US players offering an average of more than 200 varieties of casino games such as blackjack, craps, baccarat and video poker.
